9. Forget Not. O Mind that Youth and Beauty will wither and Decay.
10. Riches will not stand but it will be in a state of flux. God alone remains eternal and constant.
11. Lust O Mind, is a loathsome disease that takes away the life of Man.
12. The sinner's relish for wordily life develops into a big flood. (O Mind! A Sinner indeed, naturally gets engulfed in wordily pleasures and temptations)
13. Sell Not, O Mind, your Sense of kindness for Money. (Let not your good nature be swayed by considerations for money)
14. Desire not O mind, anything. Give yourself into God. Then YOU are carefree.
15. He who has renounced his thoughts, O mind, gets redemption.
16. He who has rooted out his Ego has attained liberation, while yet alive.
17. The Expanse of Hell, O mind, is the expansion of lust, Anger, greed, infatuation, Pride and rancour.
18. HEAVEN and Hell, O mind, are within You.
19. O Mind. At first find out the source of your Being, other things can be considered late.
20. When doubt arises in your mind analyze who is the doubter and who are You? Find him out within you.
21. O mind, enquire of yourself "who am I: The He "I" will dies. Then the straight road to knowledge stretches open. Forget this not.
22. Oh Mind Sri Skanda Gurunatha is your only refuge. You must, in Truth, believe firmly that He will somehow redeem you Then peace will settle on you.
23. Oh Skanda Guru, you are my mother my father, you are my husband and kinsman and soul-friend. You are my master, my family deity, the life of my life, the omnipotent-God. I want none-else and nothing else than you. I have surrendered myself to you. My body possessions and soul are Thine. Chain me down under the shade of Thy lotus feet. I am Thine, Thine, Thine for ever.
24. Oh Mind, whosoever gives himself up to Sri Skanda Guru shall never become disgruntled. He will remain like the Rock of Ages unshaken in the conviction that whatever happens is HIS Divine Will.
25. Oh Mind, adversity turns Man towards God.
